The Colour Run

I love bringing a little colour to life making my tassels and feel very grateful that I get to come to work every day surrounded by a veritable spectrum of shimmering yarns, like so…

So when I saw people walking around Central London earlier this year, looking like an explosion at a paint factory…

…I was intrigued. Turns out they had been taking part in The Colour Run, a 5k race with a giant colour fight thrown in along the way. Fun!

I have entered into The Colour Run taking palce in Brighton on the UK’s beautiful South coast on September 14th. I felt it was only fitting to make the most of the event and run in aid of a small charity that helps to bring colour to the lives of some of Britain’s vulnerable children.

The Art Room offers a creatively-based therapeutic environment in Primary schools in Oxford and London to help build children’s confidence, independence and self-esteem. You can read more about their work here.

Now I am not a natural born runner but have been in training for the event as I want to give it my all. You can help motivate my pavement-pounding as well as benefitting this wonderful charity by sponsoring me here…

I am offering a pair of bespoke tassel earrings to one lucky sponsor and I’ll be wearing my own on the day. I’ll be back to show you the colourful results!
